Not only does the HD40 have overwrite function, password protection and PIR controls; this is one of a very few that has start/stop time.
This means the camera can be set to turn on at custom time intervals during the day.
The camera has a built in bracket for a python cable lock and a 1/4" x 20 threaded insert on the bottom for a Slate River Mount.
One of the most impressive features of this camera is the long list of programmable functions.
- The HD40 stands out in many areas - picture quality, battery life, case design and easy programming.
The slow detection circuit is the only thing holding this camera back from being a true top performer.
I sit the bag at the end of my cot and quickly access whatever I need whenever I need it.
I paid 0 extra, each way, taking this bag to Michigan on a fishing trip. The Main compartment dividers & fiberglass rods that keep the bag square are awesome. The only down side is this bag is so big not all the airlines will accept it without charging you extra. I have the original SOM's bag but due to price and great ruggedness I haven't needed to buy the 2.0 version.
I am constantly recommending this bag to my buddies in my unit, some have shown great interest in it after seeing just what and how I can fit all my uniforms and gear into it.
The ability to put locks on all the zippers is a definite plus to keep my gear secured when in travel.
This has been my best choice investment in bags to date. The only thing I do not like about the CAMS 2.0 is the weight of the empty bag.
